Chapter 372 - Chapter 372: The Battle Belonging to Four

Of course, that wasn't the main point; the main point was after dinner.

He was in urgent need of that evidence, but everything was planned out. Tomorrow he would recruit people, complete various procedures, and probably be able to set off in about three days.

As a coordinator, he was inherently quick.

"I'm going to take a shower first."

Sulei said somewhat awkwardly in the living room.

"Four people? That'll take a long time."

He Kui jokingly held Sulei's hand as she tried to leave.

"What do you want then?!"

Sulei turned around, her expression a mix of three parts pride and seven parts playfulness.

"Together?"

Upon hearing this, Sulei and Shihe were relatively fine, but Meyrin beside them was completely stunned, her face turning redder than the plate of scrambled eggs with tomatoes they had just eaten.

"Look at her, see if she agrees!"

Sulei glanced at Meyrin, then turned back to He Kui and said irritably.

At this moment, He Kui also noticed Meyrin's face, which was almost bleeding from embarrassment.

Indeed, it was just the beginning, and being too forceful right away wouldn't be good.

"Alright, Leilei, we'll just go."

Shihe gave He Kui an amused look and then led Sulei upstairs to the bathroom.

At this point, only He Kui and Meyrin were left in the house.

"Sorry, did I scare you just now?"

He Kui asked gently.

"No."

"No need to be so nervous."

He Kui stepped forward and embraced Meyrin.

"Meyrin can take her time to get used to it; we have plenty of time."

"Mm."

In He Kui's warm embrace, the girl's feelings of confusion began to dissipate, and her drifting heart seemed to find a place to settle.

Naturally, while the two were showering, He Kui was not idle; he diligently began teaching the girl about Quantum Virus invasion.

And his Quantum Virus successfully infiltrated Meyrin's system amidst waves of intense invasion.

When Sulei and Shihe emerged from the bathroom, they found the two of them drenched in sweat from the invasion.

"Are you alright~?"

Sulei looked at the girl who was drowsy from exhaustion in He Kui's arms and asked with a playful smile.

"Of course."

He Kui said as he pulled Sulei closer, bringing the girl nearer.

He couldn't afford to lose.

"Reconstruction G has arrived."

Looking at the most eye-catching line among a series of prompts, He Kui felt a bit bewildered.

After all, Reconstruction G is set in the timeline after UC, so the Mobile Suit's capabilities should be decent, although it does seem a bit ugly.

But it does have transformation mechanisms; however, many of the technologies inside might not be compatible. If localized modifications were made like in Z Gundam, then the strength would definitely decrease a bit.

But having it is better than not having it at all.

With that thought, He Kui closed his eyes amidst the crowd of girls.

The next day arrived.

Meyrin woke up early in the morning, her hazy beautiful eyes looking at the two lovely girls in front of her, her consciousness gradually returning.

Suddenly, the events of the previous day involving the four of them became clear in her mind.

Still feeling shy, He Kui opened the bedroom door again and came before the three of them.

"Meyrin, so early?"

"Mm."

Hearing He Kui's words, Meyrin shyly covered her head with the blanket, but this action resulted in Shihe's belly being exposed.

Looking at this scene, He Kui couldn't help but chuckle.

He had forgotten to change to a larger blanket yesterday.

"I've made breakfast; you all can get up when you're rested."

"I'll go first."

He Kui approached the three, first placing a light kiss on Meyrin's forehead.

"So early?"

Meyrin, reluctant to see him leave, couldn't help but grasp He Kui's sleeve.

"Today we have to get to work."

He Kui's kiss moved from her forehead to the edge of Meyrin's lips.

After the innocent kiss ended, He Kui left the room, leaving behind a girl who felt a bit lost as she gently touched her lips.

The skill test for the pilot recruitment was held on He Kui's own small asteroid.

The first test was for the Red Uniform.

At this moment, at the port, He Kui greeted his two unfamiliar classmates and the last unknown Red Uniform with a refreshing smile.

"Long time no see, Michael, Carmen."

"And it's a pleasure to have you here, Mr. Lin."

Before him stood three ordinary Red Uniform pilots, all male. However, it was not surprising since PLANT had a higher number of male pilots.

"He Kui, long time no see."

The two approached, their tones carrying a hint of eagerness.

Yet, they both felt an indescribable strangeness in their hearts.

After all, the once invisible figure had transformed into a hotshot in PLANT in less than two years.

The more they recognized this fact, the more lost they felt.

Unconsciously, a hint of pride as Red Uniform pilots and as He Kui's classmates leaked out in their attitudes.

The task here for He Kui might be heavier for the Green Uniforms, but for the Red Uniforms, it was relatively lighter, and the pay was higher than the military, which attracted many ordinary Red Uniforms.

However, there were only so many Red Uniforms in the country; most couldn't leave, a few couldn't get away, and some were eliminated, leaving just the three of them.

The last person was very low-key, saying nothing, so given their relationship with He Kui, the hiring choice would definitely be made before them.
