An aura of anger burst out of Ardentis' body because Ren's question sounded like he didn't deserve to be someone from the Dragon race.
'This lowly human keeps insulting me!'
It was the first time he felt so angry because no one had ever insulted him like that before.
Despite seeing Ardentis' rage, Ren remained as composed as ever. "Why are you angry? Isn't it the truth? The dragon race is known for its powerful raw strength and strong body."
He then continued, "I didn't use my full power earlier, yet you lost in a fist fight. If you were really from the Dragon race, my punch wouldn't have sent you flying. After all, we are of the same rank."
"You talk like you have fought a dragon before, human." Ardentis sneered.
Even though he lost the fistfight, his courage didn't shrink because fighting was not only about brute strength but a combination of power, speed, skills, endurance, and intelligence.
He might have lost in raw strength, but Ren could not necessarily beat him.
