Ren turned to Scarlett. "Health potion?"
"Yes." Scarlett nodded, "They are injured because they protected us from magical beasts, so I want to give them health potions to help them recover."
"Magical beasts tried to take us as hostages when they knew you were the mysterious inheritor." Lexie added.
"I see." Ren was grateful to Kairos and the others because it would have taken a lot more effort to kill Asher and his group if their plan had worked.
"Brother Ren, we are fine, so you don't need to give us health potions." Kairos refused their kind offer immediately because they protected his women out of gratitude.
"That's right. Our injuries are nothing to worry about. It's only minor injuries." Dan was masking the truth because, actually, many of them were severely injured, especially those who had fought Asher.
He chose to say this because he wanted to make it clear that they had protected his women without expecting anything in return.
