Shen Chi gave a bitter smile, "She can't even get out of bed now, how dare I bring her to the train station."
"What are you standing around for? Hurry back," Luo Yufang urged.
When the group arrived home, Luo Yufang and the others had no interest in the once awe-inspiring big house. They tossed their luggage aside and went to see Lin Xiaoguai.
Shen Chi pushed open the door of the master bedroom and, seeing the scene inside, he quickly raised his index finger to his lips to signal everyone to be quiet.
"Is she asleep?" Luo Yufang asked softly.
Shen Chi nodded, "Her drowsiness is quite severe now, but she often can't sleep because she's too uncomfortable from hunger. It's rare for her to be able to sleep, so let's keep our voices down."
The group tiptoed into the room, thankful that the floor was carpeted with a soft rug, making it easier to move quietly.
