Lu Zhaozhao shrugged her shoulders, her face the picture of indifference. "I guess that's going to be tough on Teacher Sun."
When she first joined this drama crew, she had heard about Sun Qian.
She really had acting chops, but after her breakout hit, she had been typecast, almost always playing her roles by the book based on her previous experiences.
Even if you photo-shopped her into her other dramas, there wouldn't be much of a sense of discord.
She was nine years older than Bai Qing, and at first glance, there was an apparent mismatch between a mature woman and a puppy-dog-like younger brother. Bai Qing was okay – with a bit of makeup and facial expression work, playing an aloof Immortal Lord was a piece of cake.
But trying to get Sun Qian to play an energetic, naïve young girl? It just didn't feel right no matter how you looked at it.
If Lu Zhaozhao hadn't been so fond of the Little Fox character in the script, she wouldn't have taken this drama.
