Wan Chu'er was distracted for the entire afternoon, a rare occurrence of being absent-minded.
Every time the teacher looked over during the afternoon class, it was mainly because Wan Chu'er had recently been the most attentive student in the classroom. Suddenly showing such a lack of concentration naturally caught the teacher's attention.
So the teacher called on her, asking her to answer a few questions.
Wan Chu'er answered hesitantly, and many of her classmates showed schadenfreude smiles, including her deskmate.
But the teacher, considering her usual performance, didn't make things too difficult for her and simply reminded her to pay attention in class.
Wan Chu'er had no choice but to force her attention back to the lecture. Studies were the most important thing now; even Jiang Kechu couldn't be allowed to disrupt her learning, though she was startled by the impact Jiang Kechu had on her.
