I watched Ciara leave, and my heart shattered into tiny million pieces.
I wanted to run after her, to beg her to wait, to not be mad at me. But Jeremy gripped my arm and stopped me.
"You really think going after her is the reasonable thing to do at the moment?" he snapped.
He was right. I knew he was, but I needed to do something.
I shrugged his hold away and started to go after her. Jeremy stepped before me, barring me. Ciara's silhouette had already faded away, and urgency gripped me.
"Get out of my way, Jeremy," I quipped.
"She is mad, pissed, annoyed, disappointed, and feeling every other emotion imaginable. You really think you're the next person she wants to see right now? Get yourself together, Noah. She is gone. Let her go. Find a way to fix this mess first. Don't be stupid," he lashed out.
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose.
