CIARA
I didn't know how to feel.
The thought that Noah had made such a document as a drunken attempt just to console his ex girlfriend didn't sit well with me.
It made me feel…weird.
How many more of those drunken documents was bound to spring up again?
I knew that the document was a mistake. That he was drunk and wasn't thinking straight
I could accept all of that. That was understandable.
The one thing I could not reconcile with was letting her in.
I had expected Noah to do everything in his power to keep her away. Threaten her. Persuade her. Bribe her. Have her arrested.
Anything. Anything but letting her in.
But he didn't.
Instead, he opened the door and led her in. And now I would have to share the same house with my husband's ex girlfriend.
A house where they had a lot of memories. The same house that damned document was birthed.
