Mirabella stood stunned, her eyes refusing to move away from the grand nest built at the corner of the cave. The dried sticks were interwoven beautifully, creating a spacious cup at its center, perfect for nestling. The nest was large enough to accommodate five to six birds inside its woven embrace.
Above the cave, through a small opening, moonlight spilled into the space, illuminating every crevice. But what truly captured her attention were the sparkling gems of various colors embedded in the walls of the nest, gleaming under the silver glow of the moon.
Above the nest, a single branch protruded from a crack in the wall, sheltering the nest below like an umbrella.
Mesmerized, Mirabella moved toward the nest, without realizing it, her fingers reaching out to trace its intricate weaving. The craftsmanship was strong and sturdy enough to withstand storms and raging winds, even though the place it was built seemed untouched by such disasters.
