"I don't think I have introduced myself, but I'm Jason Lannister. It's truly nice to meet you, princess!"
Rhaenyra frowned as she heard a voice from behind; turning around, she saw a tall man, probably two heads taller than her, standing close. He had long blonde hair and a beard, with his green eyes glinting as he gazed at her.
She was a bit startled; he was just too close, but still nodded her head as she took a step back, "Your brother serves in the council."
"Ah, yes! Yes, he does," Jason replied, a smirk blooming on his face, "But he's a bit boring really, always so serious," he joked; at least he tried.
Rhaenyra stretched her lips into a fake smile, while Jason turned towards Aegon, bowing to him a little, "Prince Aegon."
But Aegon only stared at him, his purple eyes scanning the Lannister, which the lion didn't care much for.
Instead, Jason turned to Rhaenyra, "Tell me, princess, were there this many people on your second name day?"
Rhaenyra's lips twitched at this, her arms tightening the hug around Aegon while her eyes narrowed at Jason for a moment, "I don't think I remember, and honestly, I don't think Aegon will either," she replied, smiling as she looked at her brother.
"Ah," Jason exclaimed, nodding his head, "Have you ever been to Casterly Rock, princess?" he asked, shifting the topic, "I am planning to make another dragon pit there."
A frown creased Rhaenyra's brows, 'Dragon pit?' she mumbled inwardly, 'Do the Lannisters have dragons?'
Jason's eyes glinted as he saw the confusion in Rhaenyra's face; he was about to open his mouth and say something when,
"Sister, out!" Aegon yelled, pointing his finger to the outside, grabbing her attention.
"You want to go out?" Rhaenyra asked, her voice a little eager; she too wanted to leave.
"Mhmm!" Aegon nodded, his purple eyes shining brightly.
A thin smile spread on Rhaenyra's lips, but the princess forced it down as she turned to Jason, "Forgive me, but my brother wishes to see the outside; I have to go!"
She then left Jason without waiting for his reaction.
As soon as Rhaenyra walked out, Aegon breathed a sigh of relief inwardly, 'Haah, avoided a big bomb there!' he exclaimed inwardly.
If they stayed with Jason, he would have proposed a marriage between him and Rhaenyra, which would piss her off like no other and fight with her father and think that she was always just a replacement.
'Well, whatever; crisis averted,' Aegon mumbled inwardly and looked around.
Everywhere around them was meat sizzling as the men attended to it. Some prepared for the hunt while others set up the large fire pit.
But soon, he found something interesting; raising his hand, he pointed at something in the distance, "Sister!"
"You want to go there?" Rhaenyra asked, looking in the direction Aegon pointed out.
"Yes!" Aegon replied, enthusiastic.
"Alright," she replied with a smile, walking towards the pointed direction. "Happy?" she asked, reaching their destination, which was a horse stand.
But then Aegon shook his head and turned to his sister, pointing toward a white horse beside them, "Sister, Aegon, Horse!" He exclaimed aloud.
"Hmm?" But the princess couldn't understand what he meant, tilting her head, "You want to ride the horse?" she asked in reply.
Aegon's eyes sparkled at her words as he nodded his head vigorously, "Yes! Horse, Aegon, sister!"
Rhaenyra hesitated; she didn't mind taking him on a ride on a horse, but if something were to happen to him, they would blame her.
"No, your mother will kill me!" she exclaimed out loud, shaking her head. But Aegon was adamant, "Aegon, sister, horse!"
"No!"
'Ah, it's not working!' Aegon commented inwardly; he had never ridden a horse before, so he was excited to do it. 'Alright, it looks like I have to use my ultimate attack,' he thought to himself as he squinted his eyes at his sister, which slowly reddened, and before the princess could realise,
WAAAH WAAAH
Aegon began to cry loudly, grabbing everyone's attention towards them.
Rhaenyra was startled by his sudden cries; her brother was going all out, with tears rolling down his reddened face.
She then looked around, hoping to find a maid, but everyone was staring at her, watching what she would do.
"Ahh! Fine! Alright, you win! Stop crying!" she exclaimed aloud, her heart thumping in panic.
And as soon as words left her mouth, as if by a miracle, Aegon stopped crying, shocking the princess, "Hehe!" He giggled, hugging Rhaenyra by the neck.
'What just…?' Rhaenyra's eyes went wide; she couldn't believe that her brother was this cunning.
She looked at him; he was still giggling as he hugged her. 'He played me…'
It took a moment for her to collect herself from her shock; "Cunning bastard," she muttered to herself, which Wegin pretended he didn't hear.
Soon, she called a few soldiers who helped the siblings get on the horse with Aegon sitting in front of her.
Rhaenyra then tugged at the horse, beckoning her to walk slowly.
The lords and ladies watched the siblings curiously; some had smiles while others not so.
"Hehehe!" Aegon giggled all along, his face bright and shining, causing a few ladies to fawn over him. "Sister, fast!" Aegon asked.
"No! We are not going fast!" Rhaenyra's answer was swift; she looked down at him, her eyes squinting. "I will not be fooled this time!"
Aegon's eyes watered; he sniffed softly as a tear threatened to fall from his eye, "P-Please…"
Heuk!!
The ladies watching them felt an arrow pierce their hearts; the prince was just too cute!
But Rhaenyra didn't melt, "Hmph! We are not going fast!" she stated firmly.
Aegon tried to plead with her one more time, but she was adamant, accepting defeat, "Hmph!" Aegon snorted at her cutely, causing the ladies, along with Rhaenyra, to chuckle at him.
They rode the horse for a few more minutes, with Aegon refusing to talk to Rhaenyra.
Noticing this, the princess felt a little bad. "How about this: when you get a little older, I will take you flying on Syrax!"
"Really?!" Aegon exclaimed immediately, looking up at his sister with wide eyes.
CHUCKLE
"Really," she affirmed with a chuckle.
"Hehe, sister, best!" Aegon exclaimed, leaning back on his sister's stomach.
They soon got down the gorse, walking into the main tent with smiles on their faces, but the moment they entered, Aegon's eyes widened as he clenched his tiny fists in anger.
Rage boiled from his heart while his baby face turned blood-red, 'Motherfucker! I will fucking kill you!!'
