Chapter 23 - Chapter 23 : Gina - Beginning of his empire!

On the planet Star Sup-Natural.

I wake up in a small but cozy apartment.

With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the decorations are rather soft.

In the living room, there is a plush couch, with cozy cushions on it and a thick rug at its feet.

On the other side of the room, there is a double bed that looks just as soft as the couch, with a light pink blanket and white pillows.

The kitchen, though small, is full of practical appliances, all neatly arranged and within easy reach.

A scent of lavender floats in the air.

Before anything else, I let Gina watch television.

Not just to lounge on the couch, but to learn more about this world. With the Star System, I was able to read that this world has a supernatural power system.

The more you believe in something, the greater the possibility that this belief transforms into a supernatural power.

For example, if a person loves water deeply, there is a high chance they will develop a supernatural water power.

If someone is obsessed with mermaids, they might gain a supernatural ability that turns them into a mermaid.

These are just examples, but this is the process to acquire power. However, here lies the problem. You must believe in it so strongly that it becomes almost a cult-like faith.

And even then, it gets harder. If this belief must be like a cult to obtain supernatural power, then you have to become like the god of this belief to advance in power. That is why there are some cults in this world.

But again, it's not as simple as just saying: "I am a god!"

This is where the Unique Talent, Crazy Money, comes into play. What happens if I start making money and earning more? With this kind of unique talent, how quickly can I become stronger?

That's all I could learn from the world's description, which is why I let Gina watch TV—to help her understand this world better.

A week has passed here on Star Sup-Natural. A week of absorbing every piece of information, analyzing every detail.

Once done, I check my bank account thanks to Gina's memories.

Speaking of which, this is really strange. For Mina, there were no memories at all, but for Gina, it's as if she had a whole life. A life alone, without any relatives, without family, as if she had just been waiting for me to activate her with my Unique Skill.

Although I have no proof, I feel that as my Unique Skill improves, the Primordial Star will enhance my characters' backgrounds.

I will have to check all this for each character and see if there are any clues about who she is and, most importantly, what the Primordial Star is doing.

I've decided to adjust my plan for my next characters. Though it's not too different from the original plan.

In my bank account, I have 1,700 Credos, the currency of Sup-Natural. Enough to start investing in something to make more money.

I started searching online for hackers to gather information about struggling companies with no legal issues.

I spent 150 Credos on a hacker who gave me intel on a new but struggling pharmacy.

And this is where Crazy Money starts to activate, shaping my character's personality and memories in real-time.

She begins formulating multiple contract drafts in her mind, mixing them and crafting several viable ones based on the provided information.

As for her personality—she is calculating and, above all, cold. All her emotions are there, but covered in frost, as if they were a weakness in the pursuit of wealth!

After creating multiple possible contracts, she starts writing them down, having everything needed to make it official and legally sound.

Once done, she heads to the pharmacy.

Upon entering, I ask to meet the owner to negotiate.

"Sorry, ma'am, but she's not here."

"Call her. Tell her someone wants to invest money in her pharmacy."

The pharmacist looks shocked but soon makes the call.

"Hello, ma'am...?"

"Gina. Call me Gina."

"You really want to invest in my pharmacy?"

"Yes, but not just that. I also plan to help you get it back on its feet—if you sign my contract."

"Let's talk upstairs."

As we climb the stairs, I observe the emotions on her face.

She thought I was just a regular person, and in a way, she's right in this world.

But I have enough Mental Power to sense everything around me with my heightened perception.

She shifts from frowning while biting her lip to smiling with narrowed eyes, then to a distant, worried expression as she reflects.

Once inside a private room, we start negotiating. I pull out the first contract—the most profitable one for me.

"I plan to invest 1,400 Credos for 15% of the shares."

Catherine crosses her arms, skeptical.

"1,400 Credos is too little for such a significant stake."

I give her a small smile.

"You're right. But I'm offering more than just money. You have a new pharmacy that's struggling, correct? I bring solutions."

"What kind of solutions?"

"I take 15% of the shares with my money. In return, I want a position as an advisor and veto rights on major decisions. You need an expert to turn things around. I can bring you customers, optimize your inventory, and increase your profits. And I don't ask for a fixed salary—I only want a percentage of the profits from each month's growth."

The owner frowns, looking ready to refuse.

"Here's my offer."

"Give me one month to prove my worth. If I don't boost your sales by at least 20%, you can cancel my contract. Otherwise, we continue under these terms."

"Besides, your pharmacy is in serious danger—"

I explain everything wrong with her business using the detailed and reliable information I obtained.

I outline all the risks she faces, the people who might exploit her—either by buying shares to sink her pharmacy or by crushing her with competition.

She seems completely shocked by everything I reveal.

"Alright, I accept."

I pull out the contract. After carefully reading it to ensure that everything is exactly as we discussed—with no hidden traps—she signs it.

"Pleasure doing business with you."

"Likewise, Ms. Gina."

We shake hands.

"By the way, what's your name?"

"Catherine."

I nod slightly, keeping my cold demeanor, though she doesn't seem to care.

"Give me your number so I can call you for business meetings or urgent advice."

Catherine gives me her number, and I do the same before leaving after a brief farewell.
