Morning arrived gently, the soft golden light filtering through the curtains of Raelynn's bedroom. The quiet rustling of fabric and the faint clinking of glass signaled Hera's presence. As Raelynn stirred, blinking away the remnants of sleep, she turned her head slightly to see Hera preparing fresh bandages on the nightstand.
"How are you feeling today, Raelynn?" Hera asked, her voice calm and soothing as she approached the bed.
Raelynn stretched her arms above her head, letting out a small sigh. "I'm fine," she mumbled before lowering her gaze to her leg, which was still wrapped in bandages. She then looked up at Hera, hesitating before asking, "Has Elion already left for work?"
Hera nodded as she carefully unwrapped the old bandages. "Yes, he left quite early this morning."
