The entire floor had a hushed, almost eerie stillness to it, making their footsteps sound louder than they actually were. Raelynn glanced around, noting how empty it was. The corridor stretched long and pristine, bathed in the soft glow from sunlight. It was nothing like the bustling lower floors she had passed earlier.
