"What exactly did he do?" Ama asks directly
"Everything," I reply. "He tried to ruin my date by being a nuisance," I add.
"Calm down," she says.
"I am calm," I reply.
"I brought you food," I tell her and she squeals.
I drop the flowers, shower and wear my nightwear. I go back to the sitting room because I know that Ama is still waiting. Inpatiently.
"Finally, you are back. I have been going nuts and contemplating between dragging you out of the bathroom, or breaking down the bathroom so you can leave there and tell me all the tea," she says excitedly.
I roll my eyes and say, "You are so nosy."
"I am not nosy. I am your best friend and sister from another mister," dramatic Alma says. "Plus, it is well within my rights to know all these things," she adds.
"What if I do not tell you?" I ask.
"You do not want George and Gianna to me motherless now, do you?" She says trying to sound menacing.
