To say I was surprised to see Lucien is an understatement. The last thing I expected was to see him in the same night he wanted to be a saboteur. When I saw him, I attempted to shut the door in his face, but of course the asshole stopped me by putting his foot.
I had to leave the sitting room so I will not say what I will regret. Even though the date was good, I still could not get over the way he did it. I also could not understand why he did it?
He did not have to do what he did, and the fact that he acted so jealous made it even worse because he has no right to be jealous.
I was stewing over all of this in my room, but when Ama cajoled me into letting him explain himself, I did because as she said, at the end of the day, Lucien and I are tied together forever so there is no way I can hold on to this anger.
When he apologized, I avoided looking at him for a bit before I started looking at him to ask my questions.
