The fact that I had not changed after swimming was quite shocking. I just wrapped myself in a shawl although based on Lucien's expression, it was not enough.
I loved the way he looked at me. It made me feel, and maybe it was crazy of me to like that when I did not want us to be more, but for now, I want to continue feeling like we are in a bubble.
It meant the world to me when he apologized so earnestly to me. I did not realize how much I wanted such a heart felt apology, until this night. It was as if everything was off of my chest, and it looked like he felt the same way too.
Now, back to our game. I need to ask him something that I really need to get the answer to. After all, nothing is off the table in this meddling game of ours.
Maybe it was the one shot of tequila I took that gave me the bravery to ask Lucien why he was jealous that I went out with Jermaine.
