A gap opened on the left side of the giant bug's container's glass, connecting it to the adjacent biological cages.
At that, starving creatures crawled in, only to be instantly wrapped up by the bug's tongue, dragged into its mouth, and chewed up before being swallowed.

Lord Noveis watched the giant bug feast, a faint smile appearing on his gaunt face.
Just then, an abrupt change occurred, and a piercing alarm sounded throughout the fortress.
Lord Noveis listened to the alarm with his head tilted and a blank expression, muttering to himself,
