Chapter 130: "Party in Paris: Rosalía's Birthday"

The night in Paris was vibrant and full of anticipation. Kylie was excited to have been invited to the birthday party of singer Rosalía, one of the most innovative artists in contemporary music. She and Derek were getting ready in their luxurious hotel room, while she adjusted her glamorous dress, a piece designed especially for the evening.

"You look amazing," Derek said, watching Kylie as she finished getting ready. He wore a smart suit, but with a relaxed feel, which was perfect for the event.

Kylie smiled. "You don't look bad yourself," she replied, lightly running her hand over Derek's shoulder before checking her makeup one last time. "Stassie will meet us in the lobby in a few minutes."

As soon as they went downstairs, Stassie was already there, equally stunning in a tight black dress. "Ready to party?" she asked, smiling.

On the way to the party, the trio commented on the unique energy of Paris. When they arrived at the venue, the vibe was exactly what they expected, elegant yet relaxed. Lights twinkled throughout the venue, and music played in the background created a lively atmosphere.

The venue was filled with familiar faces, and in the distance, they saw Rosalía, the birthday girl, welcoming guests. Kylie waved to her and they soon came over to greet her.

"Happy birthday!" Kylie said warmly, hugging Rosalía.

"Gracias, baby! I'm so glad you guys came!" Rosalía replied, smiling at Derek and Stassie. "Enjoy the party, you're home!"

As they walked through the venue, they spotted Gigi Hadid chatting with Kendall, both still in Paris after the previous week's fashion events.

"Look who's here," Kylie commented, discreetly pointing at the two. "You guys don't stay away from each other, do you?"

Derek joked, as he watched Kylie walk over to her sisters and Gigi. Kendall laughed, hugging Kylie.

"Of course, you know how we are! We're always together when we can."

The conversation flowed naturally, and soon everyone was talking about the past few weeks, from the Met Gala to the Olympic basketball finals. Derek joined Kendall and Gigi, who were eager to hear more about LeBron James' game and his conversation with Devin Booker.

"I heard you met Devin," Kendall said, casually but curiously.

"Yeah, I did," Derek said, keeping the tone friendly. "He's a focused guy. It was a good conversation about basketball, but of course, the game they played was impressive."

Kendall smiled. "That's just how he is. Focused on what he does."

As the night wore on, Rosalía took the stage to thank everyone for being there and to make a toast. The energy in the room was high, with everyone excited and enjoying the celebration. Latin music started playing, and Kylie, Stassie, and Kendall quickly took to the dance floor, while Derek watched them, smiling.

"Aren't you going to dance?" Gigi asked Derek, as they watched the group having fun.

"Maybe later," he replied, laughing. "I'm enjoying watching them have fun."

The party continued, full of meetings and conversations. Derek noticed how happy Kylie was, enjoying every moment, especially with her friends and family. He knew these moments of relaxation were important, since their lives were often so intense and full of commitments.

Later in the night, after a few hours of dancing and talking, Derek joined Kylie and Stassie on the dance floor. The lights flashed to the beat of the music, creating an immersive and energetic atmosphere. Derek, despite not being the biggest fan of dancing, couldn't resist Kylie's infectious enthusiasm.

"I'm glad you came with me," Kylie said, pulling Derek closer as they danced.

"Me too," he replied. "Seeing you have such a great time is what makes it all worth it."

As the night drew to a close, Kylie, Derek, and Stassie said goodbye to Rosalía and her friends. "It was an incredible night," Kylie commented as they walked back to the hotel. "I'm so glad we came."

Derek smiled, squeezing Kylie's hand. "Yes, it was an unforgettable night."

They knew life in Paris would continue to offer incredible moments, but that night, celebrating a friend's birthday in one of the most iconic locations in the world, would always be remembered as one of the most special.

Chapter 131: "Magical Fashion Show: Kylie on the Coperni Runway"

It was a perfect day in Paris, the sun was shining brightly in the sky, and the city was buzzing with excitement for the once-in-a-lifetime event that was about to take place: the Coperni fashion show at Disney Park. Kylie had been invited to be one of the stars on the runway, and the excitement was palpable as Derek, Kendall, Stormi, and Aire prepared to watch the show.

Derek was holding both of his children, Aire looking around curiously, and Stormi was excited to see her mother walk the runway. "It's going to be fun, Daddy! I want to see Mommy looking like a princess!" Stormi exclaimed, her eyes shining with the magic of being at Disney Park.

"She's going to look amazing, as always," Derek smiled, adjusting Aire's position in his arms. He looked at Kendall, who was standing next to them, also excited. "What about you? Ready to see your sister shine?"

Kendall smiled. "Always! I think Kylie is going to steal everyone's attention today, especially with this setting. It's Disney! It can't help but be magical."

As they waited for the show to start, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation. The idea of holding the event in such an iconic place as Disney only added to the enchantment. The lights around the park began to glow softly as background music filled the air.

"This is surreal," Derek commented, taking in the enchanting setting with the classic Disney buildings in the background. "I never thought I'd be at Disney watching a fashion show."

Kendall laughed, adjusting her sunglasses. "Welcome to our world, where the magic of fashion meets the magic of fairy tales."

Soon, the show began, and the first models appeared on the runway set up along the park, with the iconic Cinderella castle in the background. The soft soundtrack matched the enchanting atmosphere, and Derek felt a certain pride growing as he waited for Kylie to enter.

"Look, Daddy!" Stormi excitedly pointed as one of the models walked by wearing a futuristic Coperni dress. But her excitement peaked when Kylie appeared on the runway. "Mommy!"

Kylie beamed, wearing an exclusive piece from the collection, a dress inspired by a modern princess, with innovative cuts and details that captured the essence of the Coperni brand.

She walked confidently, her eyes focused ahead, but Derek knew she was aware of where her family was. Her slight but present smile reflected the pride in having Derek, Stormi, Aire and Kendall there, watching her.

"Mommy looks so beautiful!" Stormi said proudly, making Derek and Kendall laugh.

"She looks amazing," Derek murmured, impressed by Kylie's elegance.

Even though he was used to seeing her in glamorous situations, there was something magical about seeing her strutting in this environment, with her children nearby and Disney as the backdrop. Kendall watched with a proud but also professional look.

"She was born to do this, wasn't she? She can pull off any look, any place."

"Absolutely," Derek agreed, gently rocking Aire so the baby would stay calm as Kylie walked past them. "She makes it look so easy."

Kylie took her final turn on the runway, and before disappearing into the back of the stage, she glanced back at her family and smiled softly, winking at Stormi.

The little girl squealed with delight. "She saw me, Daddy! Mommy saw me!"

"She always sees you, honey," Derek replied, kissing his daughter's head. "She always sees us."

As the show came to a close, the lights brightened and the music faded, signaling the end of the show. The crowd applauded, and soon the models began to return to the runway for the traditional final turn. When Kylie emerged again, accompanied by the Coperni designers, the audience gave a standing ovation.

Kylie gave Derek, Kendall, Stormi, and Aire a quick wave, clearly thrilled to have her family there to witness the special moment.

"She was amazing," Kendall commented as they prepared to meet Kylie backstage.

"I think Stormi is going to want to follow in her mom's footsteps," Derek joked, seeing the sparkle in his daughter's eyes as she excitedly talked about the show. "She keeps talking about how she wants a dress just like her mommy's."

Kendall laughed. "I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years she's on the runway too. Looks like fashion talent runs in the family."

As they walked backstage, Stormi continued to gush about how beautiful her mommy looked, and even Aire seemed to be more aware of her surroundings. When they finally reached the dressing room, Kylie was putting the finishing touches on the show, still in her Coperni dress.

"Did you guys like it?" Kylie asked, beaming at Stormi's excitement.

"Mommy! You looked like a princess!" Stormi exclaimed, running into her mother's arms.

Kylie laughed, bending down to hug her daughter. "I'm glad you liked it, my love."

Derek walked over with Aire in his arms, watching Kylie with a proud look. "You were amazing, as always."

Kylie smiled, standing up and kissing Derek quickly. "Thank you. It was a different kind of show, but being here with you guys makes it even more special."

Kendall joined in the conversation. "I told you you were going to rock it. And with this scenery, it couldn't be any different."

"It was magical," Kylie agreed, caressing Aire's face. "And now, what do you think about enjoying the park with the kids?"

Derek smiled. "I think that's a great idea. Let's make this night even more unforgettable for them."

And so, after an impressive show, the family went to explore the park's attractions, immersing themselves in the magic of Disney, with Stormi and Aire enchanted by every detail, while Kylie and Derek looked at each other with full hearts, enjoying that special moment as a family.

Chapter 132: "Secrets Revealed"

Back in Los Angeles, the Kardashian-Jenner family's routine was finally returning to normal after their magical adventure in Paris. Derek, Kylie, Stormi, and Aire were enjoying a quiet morning at home.

The sun was shining in the California sky and the atmosphere was peaceful. Stormi was playing with her toys while Aire napped in the stroller next to Derek, who was reading the newspaper on the porch. Kylie, next to him, was on the phone taking care of business for her brand.

Suddenly, the sound of a notification on Derek's phone interrupted the calm moment. He picked up his phone and saw a flood of messages and notifications from various people, including friends and coworkers. One message caught his attention, it was from his former commander at MARSOC:

"Have you seen what just came out on WikiLeaks? We need to talk ASAP."

Derek frowned, feeling a weight in his stomach. He opened the link the commander had sent him and, to his shock, saw photos of himself, bearded, dressed in traditional Afghan garb and fully disguised, standing in the middle of a group of Afghans.

The headline was clear: "CIA's Classified Operation in Afghanistan Exposed: Photos and Information from a Covert Operator Revealed."

His heart raced. He knew exactly what it was about, an operation he had conducted years ago when he had worked undercover for the CIA in Afghanistan, infiltrating local rebel groups to gather information crucial to US national security.

It was one of the most sensitive missions he had ever undertaken, and the fact that it was now out in the open made him wary. Kylie noticed the change in Derek's expression and stopped talking on the phone.

"Derek, what is it? What happened?" she asked, concerned.

He held out his phone to her, pointing to the article. Kylie read it quickly, her eyes widening in surprise and concern.

"Oh my God, Derek… This is serious!"

"Yes, very serious," he replied, his voice tense. "This operation was completely classified. It should never have been exposed."

Kylie put her hand on her chest, trying to process the situation. "What does this mean to you? Could this put you in danger?"

Derek took a deep breath, trying to calm his thoughts. "Probably not anymore, since the mission was so long ago, but of course it creates complications. Some of the people I worked against might not like knowing who I really am." He paused, looking at the photos. "I was completely immersed in the disguise… Bearded, local clothes… They should never have had access to these images."

Kylie sat down next to him, clearly worried. "We need to do something. Contact someone, maybe your commander? They can help you understand what's going on and what you can do."

Derek nodded, already texting his commander asking for an urgent meeting. "Yes, I will talk to him, but this is not going to be easy to deal with. I don't know how far these leaks will go, or what else might come out."

As they spoke, another notification popped up on Derek's phone. This time it was an article from a major news outlet, talking about the WikiLeaks leak. He quickly opened the link and saw that the incident was already gaining traction in the press. Photos of him undercover were already circulating on social media, and there were a lot of rumors about what he was doing in Afghanistan.

Kylie picked up her phone and started reading the comments on social media, shocked at how quickly the news was spreading. "People are already speculating… Some are saying you were a spy. Others are thinking you were involved in something very dangerous."

Derek ran a hand over his face, clearly uncomfortable with the invasion of his privacy and the exposure of such a sensitive operation. "This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. These missions are classified for a reason. It's to protect both the operators and the people we work with."

Stormi, sensing the tension between her parents, stopped playing and approached Derek. "Daddy, is everything okay?" she asked, her eyes wide and curious.

Derek forced a smile and picked her up. "Yes, my princess. We're just talking about work. Nothing for you to worry about."

Kylie looked at him, clearly worried about the impact this situation could have on their lives. "Maybe it's best if we stay out of the spotlight for a while. Until this calms down."

"That's a good idea," Derek agreed. "But with the media already on top of this, I don't know if we have a choice. I might need to make an official statement, something to take the focus off the sensationalism."

Kylie watched him, admiring how calmly he was handling everything, even though the situation was so complicated.

"I trust you'll figure it out, like you always do. But know that we're here for you, Stormi, Aire, all of us. Whatever you need, we're here for you."

Derek smiled, feeling Kylie's unwavering support. He knew that despite the outside pressure, his family was his rock.

"Thank you. I'll talk to the commander and the CIA team to see what we can do about this."

Later that day, Derek contacted his commander and they arranged a video conference with the CIA security team. They discussed the leaks and the potential impact it could have, not only on Derek, but on other operators involved in the mission.

"We're investigating how this information got out," the CIA operations director said. "But we need you to stay vigilant. If there's any threat or situation that seems suspicious, contact us immediately."

Derek nodded, knowing he would need to be on high alert for the next few weeks. "Understood. I'll keep my eyes open."

After the meeting, he returned to the living room where Kylie was playing with Stormi and Aire. He sat next to her on the couch, feeling the weight of responsibility and worry, but also the comfort of being with his family.

"Any news?" Kylie asked, looking at him.

"They're investigating, but it could take a while. In the meantime, we need to be careful," Derek replied, looking at his children and thinking about the future.

"We'll get through this together," Kylie said softly, taking Derek's hand.

He smiled, squeezing her hand in return. "Yes, we will."
