Who knew how much time had passed.
Encouraged by mood, Shizune had swallowed down the essence.
Shizune's face flushed bright red. "That…. that was awful of you, Kiyoshi."
"Shizune-senpai, why don't you…. stay here tonight?"
Kiyoshi's eyes were filled with a playful glint as he gently held Shizune in his arms and handed her a glass of water to rinse her mouth.
He hadn't expected his usually shy senpai to be so daring, actually gathering her courage to do something so bold.
"Stay... here? But you're still..."
Despite his modest show of strength, Kiyoshi's gaze was so intense and full of power that Shizune's eyes widened, and her blush deepened with embarrassment.
Unable to withstand it any longer, she jumped out of his warm embrace. "N-no, I can't."
"Karin's still in her room, I…. I need to go back."
Not daring to look at him again, Shizune felt a surge of embarrassment, also fearing that Karin might notice. Clearly, she wasn't ready for this.
What she had just done was already the boldest, most reckless thing she'd ever attempted in her entire life.
Even now, her heart pounded with disbelief—she could hardly believe that she had been the one to make that move.
"You get some rest." She hastily added, cutting off anything Kiyoshi might have said.
Standing by the door, her cheeks glowing, she turned and softly murmured a "goodnight" to Kiyoshi, not daring to linger for even a moment longer.
She hurriedly left his room as though she'd committed a crime.
With a flustered heart, Shizune quickly darted through the hallway, peeking left and right before vanishing into her room.
Seeing her reaction, Kiyoshi chuckled. "She's adorably silly."
He wasn't in a rush. They were already this close so, it was only a matter of time.
And besides, this side of Shizune.
It only made her more interesting to him.
"It's already this late?"
A glance at the clock showed it was well past two in the morning.
Kiyoshi quickly showered to cool down his excited spirit.
Then, with a flash of light, he activated the Flying Thunder God technique.
In an instant, he slipped into the warm embrace of a cozy bed.
Snuggling against the softness, he buried his head in the inviting warmth.
"Kiyoshi..."
Tsunade's sleeping body stiffened briefly but quickly softened again.
Glaring playfully at the figure nestled in her embrace, she pinched Kiyoshi's nose.
"You brat, coming over this late."
"Enough—remove that Flying Thunder God seal now."
"Couldn't help it. Shizune-senpai came to me for training earlier, so it took a little time."
Kiyoshi had no intention of complying with Tsunade's request.
Gazing at her beautiful face from mere inches away, he chuckled and shifted the topic.
"But it went well, she's mastered both the Yin Seal and Strength of a Hundred Seal."
"Oh? Shizune finally did it?"
Tsunade raised her brow, surprised at her student's progress, and a warm smile crept onto her face.
She was genuinely happy for Shizune, overjoyed to see her succeed.
"Yeah, she was in tears from excitement."
Kiyoshi gave a gentle smile.
Then, under the dim light, he looked straight at Tsunade's stunning face, unable to hide a faint complaint. "But today, you ruined a beautiful moment for me."
"Hmph, what's so good about that Kirigakure girl anyway."
Tsunade pinched his cheek, muttering, "Kirigakure isn't exactly known for its easy going people. You think the women from there are simple?"
"They're all dangerous and disturbed, and the village has more rogue ninja than anywhere else. Why do you think that is?"
"I don't want some inexperienced brat like you getting played."
Her face flushed slightly, but she still forced a calm expression.
She straightened up and began to lecture him, her tone stern.
"Fine, fine, you're the teacher, you're right. Besides, it's in the past now."
Resting his head on Tsunade's firm yet soft thighs, Kiyoshi rolled his eyes at the stern yet vaguely embarrassed expression of his "mentor," who seemed more flustered than sincere.
Looking down at his still youthful face, Tsunade gently stroked his cheek, amused at how she'd grown to adore his looks over the past two years.
"Still, you did well today."
In the next moment, she seemed to make a decision.
Taking a deep breath, she could feel her heartbeat quicken.
Kiyoshi's eyes widened.
Her beautiful face blossomed, soft as a flower.
Her gentle lips lightly pressed against his.
But... only for a brief moment.
"Tsunade-nee."
Their eyes met for a heartbeat.
With a flushed face, Tsunade quickly turned away. "Don't overthink it. It's just a reward."
"That's it?"
Kiyoshi's slight disappointment showed.
As soft and sweet as it was, it was over too soon.
"What were you expecting?"
Hearing that, Tsunade's eyes widened in a huff.
Did he actually want more after that?
Did this brat really think he could cross that line?
"Alright, that's enough." She flicked him on the forehead, determined to set boundaries. "It's nearly dawn, so go to sleep."
With that, she quickly nudged him away.
Sliding back under the covers, she turned away, her heart racing.
She didn't dare to face him again.
"Tsunade-nee..."
Kiyoshi hugged her from behind.
Lovingly touching her pendant, he murmured close to her ear, "That was too quick, it didn't feel like much."
"No way…."
Tsunade's body tensed.
Her face flushed deeply, and she held his hands firmly.
But then.
She quivered slightly, nearly crying out.
In a moment of distraction, Kiyoshi advanced just a little further.
"Kiyoshi..."
Her face turned crimson, her heart pounding fiercely.
Her voice was shaky, her usual sternness masking a hint of nervousness. "You… you pervert, what are you trying to do?"
"I'll just stay close."
Kiyoshi replied with a straight face.
He showed no intention of giving up.
Tsunade was flustered but firm. "No, let me go..."
Seeing her reaction, Kiyoshi's mischievous grin only widened. He compromised, backing off slightly. "Well, how about the reward…."
"Fine, now let me go." Exhausted, Tsunade's face was red as she finally turned to face him.
But before she was fully prepared, she found his face close, far too close.
Her eyes widened.
"Mmm….."
