Dawn broke.
Gao Yi didn't say anything, he just took a card out of his pocket. As he was about to place the card on the table, he frowned and instead took Marina's hand, placing the card in her palm.
"What's this?"
Marina opened her eyes, first curious, but soon became disappointed and somewhat annoyed, "What do you mean?"
As he took a few tissues from the desk to start wiping it, Gao Yi quietly said, "The card contains one hundred million dollars."
If there were merely a hundred thousand or eight hundred thousand, or even one or two million, Marina would have considered it an insult.
But this card had one hundred million.
That was one hundred million US dollars, not Zimbabwean dollars.
That made all the difference.
Marina's eyes widened in shock.
