For his feigned death, Brian was unmoved.
He returned to his seat and patted Green's shoulder, "Green, come on, you tell me, why is he so sure I'm slandering him?"
"Because he knows the truth of the matter, that's why he's so certain..."
Green said and then rose from his seat, speechless.
He'd been fooled by the performance of a murderer!
Damn it.
He made Brian the boss into a laughingstock!
Twisting his neck, Green said, "Boss Brian, let me take it from here!"
Brian pulled a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, took a deep drag, and leaned back, propping up his feet, settling into a comfortable position to watch the show, and nodded, "Mmm, let's see your performance."
A hideous smile appeared on Green's face.
He walked over to Maggsi, dragged him back to the chair, and locked him in place.
"What are you guys doing!" Maggsi said nervously.
"What?"
"Fucking you up!"
Green replied fiercely.
He had been with the NW organization for several months now.
