At nine in the morning, Cheng Zhu was planning to head out.
He was headed to Star City, and after some thought, he decided to take Little Youzi, who was off from school for the weekend, with him.
The little girl was still sleeping in at 8:30.
She slept flat on her back, but her sleeping posture was a bit odd, with both little fists clenched and placed on either side of her small pillow.
"Time to get up," Cheng Zhu said softly.
"Brother, what time is it?" she asked groggily.
"Eight-thirty."
"Then I don't want to. Mom said I could sleep in until nine today," she grumbled, flipping over and smacking her lips in a half-asleep daze.
In the dead of winter, even kids don't love getting out of bed, feeling that it's more comfortable under the covers.
Since getting up doesn't even let me watch TV, I might as well sleep, hmph!
"Well, then I'll just have to go to the tea shop by myself," Cheng Zhu sighed, sounding regretful.
