Kael's eyes snapped open with the last images he saw being one of blood and savage domination.
His body shook slightly as he shook off the uncomfortable feeling he had. Glancing through this memory had not taken much time in reality.
To an outside observer, he had only closed his eyes for a little more than ten seconds.
The golden shimmer around him faded away and Kael could feel that something was building up inside his body. He could feel that he was accumulating a power that he could not use, not yet.
