Chloe stepped through the doorway into the room, her shoulders high and her back straight. As she left Kael behind standing by the doorway, her wings tightened close to her subconsciously and her tail swung restlessly.
Kael smiled, he walked into the room after Coe had entered. With a mental command, this section of the pyramid reacted, and the blue shimmering barrier that acted as a door appeared again.
There was no living being in the whole pyramid except for the both of them, but Kael still put up the barrier door.
Kael noticed that the magic tech for these barrier doors was very similar to the prison barriers that N'bayé had used to imprison that goat and other creatures.
Except, here, it was merely used as a door to one of the rooms, not a prison door.
He couldn't wait to show N'bayé this place, she would surely love the library.
