Later that day, our parents came to pick us up from school and i gave kenji a goodbye hug and kenji left. And my mom came to pick me up.
5 YEARS LATER.....
I am now fourteen and kenji still remained my brother. Nothing changed about our relationship after these years. It was still like how it was 5 years ago except that kenji started improving in his academics and he was at the top of our class always at 1st position while I was at the bottom.
During the years,tsumugi and her brother's relationship changed. They weren't close anymore like before. He was always busy with his girlfriend or homework or working at his dad's shop but tsumugi didn't give up. She always tried something to win his attention like helping him with chores or giving him gifts but he'd just overlook them. Tsumugi kept on trying but one day, she was in the toilet and suddenly this happened...
Tsumugi: (Screams) Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Blood... I'm.....I'm...I'm bleeding. H-h-how is this p-p-possible. This can't be happening.... not now(She said in fear). Then she heard a knock on the door and it was her brother, haruki
Haruki: Um.....are you okay?
Tsumugi: Y-y-yes, i'm...i'm fine.
She told her mom about it:
Tsumugi: Mom.....I saw....blood on...on...on my underwear.
Tsubaki: Really? It's so early
Tsumugi: I know(she said sadly).
Tsubaki: Don't be sad you're a woman now. It's part of growth so it's not your fault
Tsumugi: Thanks mom.
Tsubaki: But you'd have to stay away from guys.
Tsumugi: Why? Mom, some guys have already asked to dance with me in the culture festival campfire. And some asked to go on dates.
Tsubaki: I'm sorry tsumugi but I can't risk it. You're the only daughter I have. Besides, I'm doing this to protect you. It's for your own good. And don't tell anyone except from reina.
Tsumugi: What about onii-chan (haruki)?
Tsubaki: Stay away from him and don't tell him anything.
Tsumugi: What? So you can't trust your own children again(She said angrily).
Tsubaki: I'm doing this for you. Besides, you'll only do it for a year and next year everything can go back to normal, you can do anything you want. But please set barriers and limits for the guys.
Tsumugi: But how can things go back to normal when it started abnormal.
Tsubaki: I'm sorry you have to go through all this but its for your safety. We can get you pads tomorrow,after school. But in the meantime, use this(Then she handed her some pads).
Tsumugi: (Crying).
Tsubaki: What's wrong? Does your stomach hurt?
Then tsumugi ran out of the room crying and haruki saw her and chased after her. And she went to her room, slammed the door and locked it. While haruki knocked and asked
Haruki: Is everything alright?
Tsumugi: (Crying) It's nothing. Just go away, okay?
And after that, haruki would ask her how she feels or if anything happened but she'd just keep her distance or ignore him. And they weren't close again. Today after school, kenji and i were having our goodbye hug then a good looking woman wearing a fancy dress came towards us.
Masuyo: Kenji, it's time to go home.
Reina: Let me guess you're kenji's mom.
Masuyo: Yes, and you must be reina.
Reina: How did you know my name
Masuyo: Kenji talks about you....alot!
Reina: Well I guess all brothers are like that.
Masuyo: Would you love to pay a short visit to our home.
Reina: Yes ma'm.
Masuyo: Oh please don't call me ma'm, I'm your mother.
Reina: Mother?
Masuyo: Yes, I'm your mother. You're kenji's sister which makes you my daughter and which makes me your mother. So let's go home.
Reina: Now?
Masuyo: Yes.
And everybody was amazed and shocked when they saw me enter kenji's mother's million dollar car.
One day,kenji and i were having a goodbye hug after school like always and after hugging, he went with his mom to their very fancy car.
Then my mom came out from nowhere and asked
Rin:Who's that? Don't tell me you're now giving your body to men.
Reina:No, I would never do such. Since you and dad never gave me what I wanted,i decided to get it myself.
Rin:So you decided to sleep with men for money. I hope you know that you're the reason we're poor.
Reina:No,I'm not talking about money. I'm talking about a sibling. So I decided to get myself an elder brother.
Rin:You mean that very rich guy is your brother?
Reina: Yes,he is.
Mom didn't even let me complete my sentence, she just ran after kenji's mother.
Rin: Excuse me, ma'm. I heard that your son is my dauhter's brother.
Then kenji's mom turned around.
Masuyo: Oh,hello. You must be reina's mother. I'm masuyo.
Rin: I'm rin.
I didn't know what they were talking about but i was pretty sure that mom might be asking her to pay our rent or even worse and Mrs. Is very kind so she may not be able to refuse the offer.
Masuyo: How about you come with my loving reina and her dad to our house. We can talk and get along
Rin: Okay, can I have your number?
Masuyo: Yeah
Then they exchanged phone numbers.
Rin: See you.
Masuyo: Bye reina.
Why does my mom always have to interfare in my life? Why can't she leave me alone?Why doesn't she minds her business? I hope she hasn't destroyed my relationship with kenji. I hope she hasn't done anything stupid like telling them to stay away from me because I'm bad luck and I'm dum. Trust me, she has done it before.
And I patiently waited for us to return home before I questioned her but the damage has already been done.
AND I WAS GOING TO KENJI'S HOUSE WITH THE PEOLE THAT MADE ME CRY 😞
