"That was fast!" Song Yun watched as the three judges hurriedly left, feeling a bit stunned. This was the quickest trial he had ever seen, and it was immediately carried out too. Song Yun remembered there wasn't a law or regulation that called for immediate execution. At the very least, there should've been some sort of appeal, but they just sentenced him to life imprisonment right away. It seemed that the people behind the scenes really couldn't wait to get him locked up.
After the verdict was delivered, the inspection team immediately took Song Yun away from the assembly hall and through a maze of corridors in the prison, arriving at a small room.
Once inside the small room, the inspection team unlocked Song Yun's handcuffs, only to retrieve a pair of dark, heavy handcuffs from a cabinet.
