"Your Highness Princess," Xie Jin quickly stood up and gave a bow. "I had no idea this was your residence. I came in rather abruptly. Please forgive me, Princess. I will leave immediately."
"Can you stay and talk with me for a moment?"
Xie Jin had just taken a few steps when he was stopped by the words of Princess Water. Turning around, he saw her looking desolate.
Truthfully, Xie Jin didn't want to stay because, after all, she was about to marry the Great Emperor. It wouldn't look good for a man like him to be here, even though there was no untoward intention involved.
However, Xie Jin was always sympathetic and compassionate. Seeing such a beautiful woman in this state only made it harder for him to refuse.
Thus, Xie Jin sat down again opposite Princess Water. "What would you like to talk about, Your Highness?"
