The rise of humanity was unstoppable.
After their first victory, the morale of the Corpse Hunters surged dramatically, igniting a frenzy of excitement throughout the entire tribe.
Seizing the opportunity, Origami Tobiichi proposed officially classifying humans as the "Human Species," thus elevating them to the status of a recognized race.
Naturally, no one opposed this proposal.
Now that they had the power to defeat the Werebeast Species, they could no longer be dismissed as an insignificant people.
Thanks to this, the tribe was more grateful than ever toward Origami Tobiichi. Every day, worshippers could be seen praying before the statue of Tokisaki Mio.
Although Origami couldn't directly see the progression of faith values, she was sure it was steadily increasing.
While ordinary humans offered their devotion within the tribe, the Corpse Hunters were far from idle.
Having tasted their first victory, their thirst for battle hadn't diminished in the slightest—in fact, it only grew stronger.
And with the alliance established with the Wolf Tribe, the Corpse Hunters no longer had to waste time on ineffective training. They could regularly spar with the Werebeast Species and gain valuable combat experience from real battles.
Their battle experience and mastery over Remnant Crystals improved rapidly.
Origami Tobiichi and Schwi were also busy each day researching new applications for Remnant Crystals. They developed several new abilities usable by the Corpse Hunters, making them even more formidable in combat.
Thus, after conquering the Wolf Tribe, Riku led two hundred Corpse Hunters and a portion of the Werebeast to continue their campaign. One after another, they engaged in battles with various large and small Werebeast tribes.
Those willing to submit were welcomed as followers of Tokisaki Mio. Those who resisted were scattered and absorbed into already-subjugated Werebeast tribes, deepening their devotion to Mio.
During this time, after Riku conquered a Lionmen Tribe, they coincidentally discovered a group of human prisoners locked in a cage.
Once Riku revealed their identity, the prisoners led them to another human tribe, where they were warmly welcomed.
Although this human tribe had only about a thousand members, finding them at all was already considered a stroke of luck.
When asked if they were willing to worship the God of the Spirit Species, the tribespeople—after witnessing the Corpse Hunters' power—agreed without hesitation.
Time passed quickly, and two months flew by.
In these two months, under Origami Tobiichi strategic planning, the entire southern region of the Lucia Continent was transformed into her domain.
Every Werebeast tribe living within this territory either chose to submit and pledge loyalty or ended up enslaved after resisting.
The Demon Species were entirely wiped out by Origami and Schwi purging. The rare Vampires either fled north or chose to live peacefully under her rule.
More and more human tribes were gradually discovered.
Origami power and faith spread at an astonishing speed.
"Hmm… So this is what she's been doing lately?"
High above in the sky, Jibril observed a large settlement below where humans and Werebeast mingled. Her expression was filled with interest.
Normally, she had no interest in either humans or Werebeast.
In her eyes, even the Forest Elves and Dwarfs were mere ants—so why would she care about ants among ants?
But recently, she had been far too bored.
After the entire Flugel Species migrated with Avant Heim to the Lucia Continent, most of the Flugel had become idle.
Back on the Aeria Continent, when they were bored, they could form hunting parties to slay high-ranking species—one of their favorite pastimes.
But here on the Lucia Continent, there were very few powerful races. Species like the Fantasy Species, Dragonkin, and Giants mostly resided on the Aeria Continent.
The strongest factions on the Lucia Continent were merely the Forest Elves and Dwarfs.
The few high-ranking species who remained on the Lucia Continent fled back to Aeria without hesitation upon learning of the Flugel's migration.
This made the already scarce hunting targets even more pitifully rare.
Over the past few months, Jibril had wandered all over the continent, but all she managed to hunt was a single Giant.
Truth be told, neither Jibril nor the Eighteen-Wing Council could understand why Origami Tobiichi had insisted on relocating the Flugel to such a place.
However, unlike the other Flugel, Jibril was privy to parts of Origami plan.
So, to pass the time and find some amusement, she decided to investigate whether there were any nearby human tribes.
"Let's see what you've been up to lately."
With a thought, Jibril activated a concealment spell.
In an instant, the halo above her head and the wings behind her back were hidden by the spell. Without advanced detection magic, anyone looking at her now would simply see an extraordinarily beautiful human woman.
Although she had no qualms about descending here in her true Flugel form, this time she came in secret—without informing Origami. If she caused a disturbance and accidentally disrupted Origami plans, it would be problematic.
Blending into the bustling outpost in her human guise, Jibril curiously observed everything around her.
This outpost served as a hub of exchange between the different races and tribes.
Before Origami arrival, the southern Lucia Continent was in utter chaos. Although the war between the Forest Elves and Dwarfs mostly took place in the north, the south was far from peaceful.
Werebeast tribes raided each other, Demon Species ran rampant, and Vampires hunted freely for blood slaves…
But after Origami gifted Remnant Crystals to humanity and Riku led them into battle, this powerful new force emerged and brought order to the southern continent.
The Demon Species were nearly wiped out. The Werebeast tribes ceased their mutual slaughter. Even the Vampires had become well-behaved.
The once-hostile tribes and races, after being transformed into followers of the Spirit Species' main God, began to change their ways and actively interact with outsiders.
Wandering through several busy streets within the outpost, Jibril saw many Werebeast selling furs, meat, and ores; humans selling textiles and handicrafts; and even a Vampire running a stall with self-made illusion talismans.
Although none of these goods interested her in the slightest—even the illusion charms, which attracted a small crowd, seemed like crude trash to her—she had to admit that this was a scene she had never witnessed before.
In this wasteland, where there had never been rules or morality, low-ranking races had certainly never traded peacefully like this.
Soon, she reached the center of the marketplace.
"It seems like Origami plan is progressing smoothly."
Looking at the statue of a human figure at the heart of the plaza—where many Werebeast and humans were praying—Jibril lips curled into a smile.
"Tokisaki Mio, huh? I hope that on the day you awaken, you won't disappoint me."
