When Alanis saw his wife arrive, he smiled. Tonight would definitely be chaotic but just as Charlotte had told him, it's best he let Harlow know the truth about him.

Alanis believed the few months spent together was enough to redeem his ten years of torture. It was enough to make her forgive him for being the worst father and husband.
