Kaiju enjoyed himself, reading the effects of the artifact–visualizing his future battle by utilizing it. He also realized he has to adjust himself, he has to solidify his foundation to increase his power when fighting against Vladislaus later.
He desired to fight another Crimson Knight and was about to order Little Gorilla to gather more artifacts–not aiming to wear it, but to use it as a medium to activate the secret technique. He contemplated it for a bit and finally decided to choose the route. After all, searching for another treasure with the aid of Little Gorilla's Divine Forage skill and his ability to instantly kill Crimson Knight wouldn't take much time.
He also has to solidify his foundation anyway, so it would be two birds with one stone.
