Chapter 331 - Chapter 331 A Massacre!

Whoosh—

The wind howled above the city.

In the vast blue sky, the clouds were torn apart and gradually dispersed.

Superman stood tall in the firmament, his crimson cape billowing violently in the wind.

Before him, the Super-Skrulls, transformed through genetic modification to resemble Earth many superheroes, stared blankly at the enormous crater below—magma churning within it—and the ashes of their fallen comrade.

An unprecedented sense of despair surged through them.

How was this possible?

A clone of the Hulk had been utterly obliterated by Superman in an instant.

Even kl'rt, who had always been full of confidence, felt his face stiffen as a trace of fear crept into his heart.

Among the team of Super-Skrulls he had engineered, the Hulk clone was undoubtedly one of the strongest—second only to himself.

And yet, the so-called "strongest warrior" had been annihilated in mere seconds.

During their brief encounter, the Hulk clone had been completely overpowered—utterly unable to resist, let alone fight back.

He too strong!

How could a planet like Earth—a seemingly insignificant world in the vast cosmos—harbor such a terrifying powerhouse?

Kryptonian!

A single thought now consumed kl'rt mind.

Where is Krypton?

A species this formidable would never have gone unnoticed in the universe. And yet, no matter how hard they racked their brains, they couldn't recall any records of Krypton.

It was as if this terrifying race had appeared out of thin air.

Fortunately, according to the available data, Krypton had long since been destroyed. In the entire universe, Superman seemed to be the last of his kind.

Otherwise, the universe wouldn't stand a chance.

The Kryptonians would have turned it into their playground.

As this thought crossed kl'rt mind—

BOOM!

A deafening explosion jolted him back to reality.

Now was no time for distractions.

Snapping back to his senses, kl'rt found himself facing Superman—a towering, insurmountable mountain standing in his path.

His heart tightened.

His attitude had completely changed.

Moments ago, he had looked down on Superman with disdain.

Now, he was filled with dread.

At the same time—

As New York citizens watched in awe, their eyes glued to the battle unfolding before them…

And as countless people across the world held their breath, watching through their screens…

Since his arrival, Superman had already slain several formidable enemies. Yet, only a few minutes had passed.

During this brief time, he had remained motionless, standing coldly in place, waiting for his enemies to make the first move.

But no one believed for a second that Superman was incapable of moving.

It was clear that this mighty Kryptonian—the savior of humanity—was effortlessly annihilating those who sought to conquer Earth.

Just like in the movies, where Superman stood as a guardian of humankind.

He had chosen not to move, deliberately shattering the enemy confidence.

But the moment he began to act—

That was when the true battle would commence.

Whoosh!

Superman vanished from sight.

No one could track his movements.

Yet, everyone knew exactly what he was about to do.

"No!"

A Super-Skrull let out a horrified scream. "He about to attack—"

BANG!

Before he could finish his sentence, the Daredevil clone beside him was obliterated by a single punch from Superman.

The unfortunate copy of Daredevil took the full force of Superman strike. His entire body erupted into a thick mist of blood, and his ragdoll-like corpse plummeted from the sky like a meteor.

He crashed into the molten pit below—formed by Superman heat vision—causing fiery splashes to rise.

Then, silence.

Gone.

Before the remaining Super-Skrulls could even process what had happened, Superman vanished once more.

"We're doomed..."

"Run!"

"He a monster! Get out of here!"

Panic spread like wildfire.

Even though each of them possessed various superhuman abilities, the sheer overwhelming presence of Superman crushed their will to fight.

Faced with an enemy they had absolutely no chance of defeating, their spirits shattered.

Whoosh!

A beam of heat vision sliced through the air.

Another Super-Skrull was instantly vaporized.

Terror.

Despair.

Under the crushing weight of fear, the Super-Skrull forces completely collapsed.

They scattered in all directions, fleeing for their lives.

In that moment, they forgot all about their grand mission—the revival of the Skrull Empire.

Because at the end of the day, if all paths led to certain death, if the future was nothing but darkness with no hope of victory…

Who in their right mind would continue to fight a battle they knew they could never win?

Of course, some fools would still persist.

kl'rt was one of them.

But unfortunately for him, none of his allies shared that same stubbornness.

"Bastard!"

kl'rt watched as his comrades scattered in all directions, his fury erupting instantly.

His eyes burned with an intense light, and golden energy waves surged from his entire body, stirring up a violent storm.

Boom!

He raised his hand and unleashed a golden energy wave. The terrifying power condensed into a blazing beam, hurtling straight at Superman.

Bang!

Heat vision shot forth.

The two energy-laden attacks collided, creating a massive vacuum zone.

Visible ripples in the air spread outward like waves on a lake, sweeping across the entire city.

Everyone watching through their screens stared in stunned silence.

They could hardly fathom that there existed beings in the universe with such overwhelming combat strength.

But the real focal point was Superman himself.

At that moment, the world truly understood the nickname carried over from the movies—

A God Among Men.

Undoubtedly deserved.

Whoosh!

The moment the clash ended, Superman figure suddenly vanished from kl'rt sight.

kl'rt eyes widened as he strained to focus, his gaze growing sore, yet he still couldn't capture Superman precise movements.

All he could make out was a fleeting streak of blue—a blur of Superman suit—racing toward his scattered comrades.

Clearly, Superman had no intention of engaging kl'rt directly just yet.

His plan was to eliminate all of kl'rt Super Skrull allies first.

And both his goal and actions were unmistakably deliberate.

The underlying message was clear:

kl'rt fate was already sealed, but Superman would save him for last.

By executing kl'rt comrades first, Superman was forcing him to witness the total annihilation of the Skrulls.

He was making kl'rt understand—restoring the Skrull Empire was nothing more than a delusion.

A kill that crushed both body and spirit.

Of course, Superman wasn't concerned about kl'rt flying into a blind rage and attempting to destroy New York or attack humanity in retaliation.

For one, the Justice League members stationed in New York were far from weak.

And more importantly, with Superman abilities—he would never give kl'rt the chance to do anything at all.

Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!

High in the sky, Superman position shifted continuously.

One by one, the Super Skrulls were wiped out at his hands.

Under the watchful eyes of the world, another few minutes passed. Countless people stood in stunned silence, watching as Superman slaughtered his enemies.

These beings, who had transformed into some of Earth most powerful superhumans, were utterly helpless before a fully unleashed Superman.

They were no more than fragile clay chickens and pottery dogs—powerless, incapable of resistance. Their only fate was to bow their heads and be executed.

From the moment Superman appeared, the battle had turned.

His overwhelming power exceeded all expectations, shaking everyone to their core.

Throughout the entire confrontation, no one else had the chance to intervene—only Superman.

Even if Batman himself were to step forward now, he would not be able to steal the spotlight.

Because at this moment, the sheer, undeniable force Superman displayed had forged an aura of absolute reverence—an awe so profound it would be etched into memory forever.
