However, she masked her thoughts with a broad smile. "You think too much."
"Mmmm." He hummed ambiguously, his fingers tapping the desk, and he changed the topic. "Do I get a paper and pen?"
Though she had no idea what he was planning to use them for, she helped him get the two.
He scribbled a string of numbers on the paper, then tossed her the pen. "This is my phone number. You can contact me once the compensation is ready."
Gianna caught the pen with one hand, her other resting casually on the counter. She stared at the string of numbers he had written, her eyes taking in his strong, bold handwriting. She had never seen it before. It looks good.
Glancing at him, she murmured, "You trust me that much?"
