The edges of his lips curled up slightly, and he relaxed his back on the chair.
"I don't know… do you?" He suddenly asked, not even bothering to answer her previous question.
The nun's eyes widened slightly, and her brow furrowed in annoyance.
However, it was only for a brief moment, and her face soon returned back to its neutral, serene expression.
"I'm already forgiven, all my sins have been washed away by her grace." She muttered, gently placing a hand over her chest.
A warm smile appeared on her lips, proud at the lack of desires other than that of the goddess in her heart.
"I know am without sin, but… I can't say the same for you." She said, turning back to Liam.
'Without sin? Sins washed away?' Liam thought, barely holding back the urge to chuckle.
"You say you're without sin." He muttered, slowly rising up on his feet.
'What… is he doing now?' The nun wondered, narrowing her eyes at him in confusion.
