Karion soon thought of the others. He looked back, but none of them were there. "Where the hell are the others? This was supposed to be a coordinated mission. Why hasn't anyone else shown up?"
He shook his head and exhaled heavily. He reached into his spatial ring and took out some healing potions. He uncorked them and drank them all.
He then muttered to himself, "I need to heal up. Just a minute... just enough to be ready if things take a turn for the worse."
The potions weren't enough to fully restore him, but they were enough to let him move more freely than before. Karion leaned back as he glanced at the battlefield.
He was more focused on Ragnar. "I'll stay low for now. But if this spirals out of control, I'll need to find a way to get out of here alive."
He then clicked his mouth. "No matter what happens, the Empire needs me and the first prince to survive this. The others aren't as important as we are."
