Liora sat on a flat stone, one knee raised, fingers resting against her chin.
She moved slowly, running through different hand positions.
Strike styles, pressure control, guard shifts.
Then she stood and stretched once, flames flickering faintly across her arms.
"Not bad. Still need to push more into the core flow."
She closed her eyes and focused.
Silver energy pulsed quietly around her, syncing with her breath.
Then she felt it—movement.
One of the Vornis appeared from the mist, stopping just a few feet in front of her.
It didn't speak, of course. Just a short bark.
Then it turned and began walking away.
Liora raised her eyebrow. "Something?"
The Vornis didn't look back. Just paused and flicked its tail, nudging the ground with its claw.
Liora's eyes followed the motion.
"…You want me to follow."
The Vornis took one more step, then stopped again, glancing back.
Liora cracked her neck once and stepped off the stone.
"Alright. Lead the way."
