After a busy day, James Brown finally got home a little past six. As soon as he opened the door, Emma Campbell greeted him wearing a small apron, with her hair tied back in a ponytail and dressed in a petite nightgown that looked both elegant and cute.
Emma took his shoes and bent down to help James change into them. "Big Brother Brown, come in and rest a bit. I've prepared the meal. I'll start cooking right away, and dinner will be ready soon."
James did not object and let Emma help him with his shoes. It was not that he did not respect Emma; he knew she liked doing it. For Emma, it was a form of happiness, and for him, it was equally heartwarming.
"Emma, I've been wearing shoes all day, and my feet are smelly, yet you still help me change them," James said to Emma as soon as she stood up, asking with a smile.
