Emily followed Big Brother Brown into his car. She had already recounted what happened to James Brown. Tonight, she didn't wait for James to come back for dinner, so she came here to buy some food. While doing so, she saw a stall selling something interesting and decided to record the process. Just as she started recording, the accident happened, and she captured the whole incident on video. The group that assaulted the victim seemed to have some backing; they were shouting provocatively, claiming even if they killed someone, it would be in vain as the police would be of no help whatsoever.
That's why Emily felt that the police station would definitely side against the taxi driver, so she wanted to testify to ensure the driver wouldn't be mistreated.
James was quite surprised and said to Emily, "You have a strong sense of justice, huh?"
