James didn't dodge the responsibility either. He's pretty good friends with Joan, and he couldn't just stand by when a friend needed help. Especially when this favor was quite titillating. Whenever he was with Gina Lopez, Emily Lopez, and Sarah Utah, he always held some reservations, worried that they might take the fun too far and he wouldn't be able to handle it.
But it was different with Joan. Although she no longer looked down on him like before, she clearly didn't have those kinds of feelings for him. At best, they were just friends who could talk, and emotionally, Joan still despised him a lot. So no matter what happened with Joan, James wasn't worried that she would cling to him.
Just then, Joan's phone rang. Upon seeing the number, she whispered to James, "It's my mom's call. She's been calling me every day for the past few days, and she even wanted you to listen in, but we've never caught you available, and it's starting to drive me crazy."
