Chapter 391 - Chapter 392: Is This Considered Robbing My Own Side?

A projected image of a power cell appeared before everyone.

Dr. Hank Pym spoke softly, "This device is a signal decoy prototype. Howard and I developed it together. After I left S.H.I.E.L.D., it was left behind at the Stark factory."

The signal decoy prototype could help Scott steal the Wasp suit without triggering the security system.

This way, he could sneak into the Pym Research Lab undetected and successfully steal the suit. More importantly, it would make destroying the data much easier.

Most crucially, it would ensure Scott remained unnoticed and wouldn't be caught by Darren.

"Where is it? When should I retrieve it?" Scott asked. If the device was that important, then he had to get it.

"The old Stark factory. Here's the address." Hank Pym wrote down the former factory's location. The property had since changed hands, and the signal decoy prototype was likely left behind in storage.

"The place is just a warehouse now. The prototype is probably stored inside. If you get there and can't find it, just come back first."

Scott froze after hearing Hank Pym's explanation.

"Uh… I have a question." Scott slowly raised his hand like a student preparing to ask in class.

He turned to Alan, who appeared to be lost in thought. "Alan, didn't you say you wanted me to join the Avengers later?"

"Wouldn't this be considered robbing my own side? I mean, if I steal something from Stark's old factory and Tony finds out, won't he be the first to oppose me joining?"

Scott had always planned to join the team in the future, proving his worth and making Cassie proud.

But now, breaking into Stark's old factory to steal something—what kind of logic was that?

If he didn't get caught, great. But if he did, it would be hard not to earn Tony Stark's resentment.

"I have my own arrangements. Just focus on the job," Alan reassured him, signaling for him to stay calm and not overthink it.

"Retrieve it as soon as possible—preferably right now. In a few days, Darren is hosting his showcase event, and he's already sent me an invitation."

Hope immediately stood up when she heard this. "Does he suspect our plan?"

She clearly remembered Darren telling her that he had no intention of inviting her father, Hank Pym, to the event.

Ever since their last meeting, Darren had grown even more resentful toward Hank, convinced that he was targeting him. Otherwise, why would Hank continue to deny the potential of Ant-Man's technology?

"Who knows? If I don't attend, he'll definitely get suspicious."

Hank wasn't sure what Darren was planning, but the invitation was explicit—his presence was mandatory.

"If I go, it might actually work in our favor. Once the Wasp suit is stolen, we'll all be there as witnesses, so he won't suspect us."

Alan quickly recalled the original timeline. Darren didn't trust anyone, and he was already growing suspicious of Hope.

The only reason he hadn't taken action against her or Hank yet was that he hadn't fully cracked the Pym Particle formula.

"Hank is right. If you both attend, it will lower his suspicions."

In Alan's mind, another plan was already taking shape.

He could simply have the Red Queen intervene—she had the power to control the city's entire network.

That included hacking into Darren's company network and security systems.

With Red Queen's abilities, it would be effortless!
