Upon hearing Charlotte's explanation, all seven of them gathered around James.
Together, they said, "Mr. Raffle, thank you for saving Mommy! You're so kind! By saving Mommy, you have saved us as well!"
James' smile widened when he listened to their mellow voice.
He had always been fond of children.
So, he was glad to see their innocent and cute faces.
Just then, he froze when his gaze fell on Quinto.
A glint of astonishment flashed across his eyes.
Even though he had known that Quinto looked like him, he was still taken aback by how identical both of them were.
Later, Charlotte secretly called Quinto to the balcony and told him about James' past.
His eyes sparkled brightly at the end of Charlotte's speech. He claimed, "Mommy, Mr. Raffle is so devoted."
Charlotte nodded in agreement.
