The next task was to bathe Carter.
At first, it was going well. But when Flora stood up to get the soap, she unknowingly hit the hot water knob.
The water temperature immediately rose to 140 degrees.
Carter began to cry. "Ouch, hot! The water is so hot!"
Dahlia was horrified.
She quickly carried Carter out of the bathtub and tested the water with her hand.
She yelled angrily, "You brat, you did it on purpose, didn't you? You want to burn your brother on purpose! How can you bathe someone with water this hot!"
As Flora flinched and took a step back, she lost her balance and fell into the tub.
Dahlia brought Carter to the bedroom and inspected his entire body closely.
Thankfully, he was only in the hot water for a short time. Although his skin had turned red from the hot water, he did not suffer severe burns.
