I blinked as I watched the video being played on the projection screen.
It was none other than my darling Phoebe and best friend Beta Negan, both sitting on a bench in a garden at night time.
"You're my best friend's mate, Phoebe." Negan seemed disturbed in the video as Phoebe tried to kiss him. "And the Moon's Chosen, not to mention the pack's Luna. This... This would be blasphemy."
This couldn't be happening. There had to be some kind of mistake somewhere.
Meanwhile, my mother was seemingly alarmed by the video playing on the projection screen behind her and started shouting out.
"Where's the person in charge of the projection slides?" She hollered from the stage. "Turn this off! Turn it off!"
She struggled with an iPad in her hands but no matter how many times she clicked on it, the video on the projection screen didn't stop playing.
And it seemed there was more to come as Negan seemed to finally give in and accepted Phoebe's kiss.
