Phoebe rose from the bed, adjusting her dress. " I think we need to go now." Her tone laced with urgency.
I furrowed my brows in confusion. "Go where? To see Elder Gita this late?" I mumbled.
She turned to me, looking down at me as I sat on the bed. She placed her hands on her hips, slightly tilting forward like a mother about to scold her child.
"No, let's have a good night's sleep and wait till doom reaches the pack." She rolled her eyes, obviously mad at me.
I got on my feet immediately, her sarcasm was enough to make me understand that this was an urgent matter that didn't need more delay.
As we walked past the hallway, we saw my mom. She wore a cheerful smile as she set her eyes on us too.
"Where are the lover birds going?" She asked, her smile still intact. Her smile was genuine, a real smile with no ulterior motives unlike when Elsa was around.
