Saldrich's voice cut through the tense atmosphere like a blade, her tone resolute. Her entire stance revolved around keeping Aldrich from fighting by any means necessary.
Especially fighting with Kyle Dandada. That has to be stopped from ever happening.
"Are you saying I would lose if I fought him?" Aldrich challenged, his expression unreadable.
She had already come to that conclusion, believing that if this deal were to be finalized, Aldrich would inevitably face Kyle in battle.
And he would lose. Aldrich can see she doesn't doubt that conclusion of hers.
"He's a second-year student who has earned the recognition of a lot of professors and even established himself as a reputable student of Eldora, all at just eighteen," Saldrich stated matter-of-factly. She wasn't trying to sound antagonistic, but the weight behind her words was undeniable.
