The convoy stopped by the village, reining their horses in the stable and paying the stable master to feed and water them. The stablemaster suggested checking the horses' shoes and the soldiers agreed.
In the meantime, Vesper alongside Shin's group and a few guards headed to the local tavern to secure rooms. Many rooms were empty since almost no one passed by this village at this time of the year so everyone got a room, except some of the soldiers.
"Are you sure?" Vesper looked at Shin with a horrified face, "All of you? One room?"
"No problem." Shin tapped his shoulder with a smile, "If they can't fit, I'll stack them like wheat bags."
Vesper cleared his throat, "This king should probably ask you to teach him the secrets of your ways. This king never was good at speaking to them, WOMEN!"
