It was but a waste of time, Shin had spent the rest of the day in the forest between the capital and Bron searching for cyclopses to hunt, but he didn't manage to find anything, not even a single wolf. It took him the whole day to return and ask in the guild, and only then that they tell him that the knights were carrying out a training skirmish yesterday and scared all of the monsters away.
That was probably the reason the cyclops made it to Bron anyway so it'll probably take days for the running monsters to slowly return to their habitat in the forest, which mean Shin can't hunt any more of them in the near future.
Since it was already nighttime when he returned to Mary's house he decided to end the day there. After a plentiful dinner and a relaxing bath, Shin retreated into his room with the girls, even Qiliu had come to Mary's house.
