Thanks to Shin's advice, Sacha found herself doing better in the floor 993, and partly due to the zombies getting stronger and more in numbers, some started slipping past Shin and Sacha to attack Mary.
But as expected, one or two of them coming every several minutes was far too few to pose a harm. Ase cleaned them up swiftly, and while still being bored, she sat in the shadows with her eyes fixed on the hallway.
Unlike the previous floor, this time it took a while to clear all of the zombies, and both Sacha and Shin ended up getting injured.
Sacha got stabbed in the armor gap of her neck by one of the strong zombies as she tried to use Shin's plan for the first time.
Shin, on the other hand, got injured when he rushed to kill the strong zombie who just stabbed Sacha in the neck, which opened him up to a painful smack from one of the fat ones.
