When everyone found out about Claire's situation, some of them stayed away from him because they were upset when they found out that Claire was Fein's boyfriend.
They felt that all this time what Claire had been doing by covering up his relationship with Fein was just like he was mocking them by laughing at those who were fans of the alpha.
