Blaze's voice was a low, rumbling growl as he replied to Henry's heart-wrenching report about Amelia's condition.
"Can I speak with my mother?"
"Sure bro. But please, take it easy. Amelia will be fine according to the doctor's report." Henry spoke softly from the other end.
Blaze shut his eyes, his demon struggling to let loose. "Just put my mother on the phone."
"Okay. I'll take the phone to her right away. Just give me a few seconds. She's currently in Amelia's bedroom with the senator."
"Hmm...." Blaze sighed, his eyes bloodshot.
Even the chief warden, who had become his closest ally over the past two months, was terrified by the negative aura he was exuding.
"Mr Anderson, don't you think it's time for you to consider my plan B?" The chief warden spoke softly feeling Blaze's pain. "I will take care of everything and no one will suspect a thing."
Blaze looked up at the mature uniformed man with gray hair as if reconsidering his earlier offer.
