It was even more grating on Eldric's nerves when instead of looking scared or anxious, Fervor simply had a mostly bored expression on his face.
Going as far as to put his hands in his pockets as he stood in front of Eldric staring at him with mild irritation.
"You might have forgotten but according to the rules, in the case of a lord's death and the existence of a young heir, a guardian can be named as lord of a district until the heir comes of age!" Fervor slowly explained with a condescending tone that one would use for someone that was lesser than them.
This of course pissed Edlric off beyond words considering the fact that not only was he a lord, he was one of the lords with the biggest territories yet Fervor was openly talking down on him.
"You can return and confirm but meanwhile…I will be leaving with Fiona!"
